Meus

How it works

From your tap to your receipt

Meus turns the commissions stores already pay into money for you — openly, only when you ask, and with proof.

The process

Six steps, and you are in control of the one that matters

  1. 1

    You browse a store

Meus recognises participating stores. Nothing is activated yet.

  2. 2

    Meus shows the offer

The cashback rate and your share, labelled as a paid link.

  3. 3

    You tap to activate

Only your tap starts tracking. If another affiliate is already active, Meus steps aside.

  4. 4

    You order as usual

The store records the commission against an anonymous activation.

  5. 5

    The store confirms

After the return window, the affiliate network confirms the commission.

  6. 6

80% to you, with a receipt

Your share becomes withdrawable and a public receipt is published.

The money

Where every cent goes

Stores pay a commission when a purchase comes through an affiliate link. Meus passes 80% of it to you and keeps 20% to run the service. The share is recorded on each commission when it is earned, so later changes can never apply backwards. Cashback is paid in normal money once the store's return window has passed.

Fair play

Meus steps aside when someone else was first

Honest attribution matters: Meus never overwrites another affiliate. It hides its offer and tells you it is standing down when it detects any of these signals:

  • Signal 1

The page was opened from another affiliate link — it carries a network click ID such as awc, irclickid, cjevent or ranMID.

  • Signal 2

You arrived from a known cashback or coupon service, such as Rakuten, TopCashback or Quidco.

  • Signal 3

You came through an affiliate network's redirect link (for example Awin, CJ, Impact, Skimlinks).

Your data

What stays with you, what we keep, what is public

On your device

  • Your interests and preferences

On Meus servers — the minimum

  • Your email address
  • Activations: store and time
  • Balances and payout records

Public

  • Receipts with no personal data
  • Daily cryptographic roots
Never: selling personal data, profiling you across sites, or sharing your browsing history.

Public receipts

A receipt for every commission

Each confirmed commission produces a public receipt: merchant, commission, your share and ours. Receipts contain no personal data.

Every day, the receipts are combined into a single cryptographic fingerprint (a Merkle root) that is written to a public blockchain. Anyone can check that a receipt belongs to that day's fingerprint — so the numbers cannot be quietly changed afterwards.
