Privacy Policy

What we collect for the waitlist: your email address, a one-way hash of your IP address and of a random id your browser keeps for this site (both for abuse prevention, for example so one person cannot refer themselves with several emails), who referred you and whom you referred, and timestamps.

Why: to run the waitlist and send you updates about Meus.

Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.

How long: until you ask us to delete it, or at most 24 months after the product launches. After deletion we keep only a one-way hash of your email address, so that signing up again cannot earn a referral reward twice.

Who processes it for us: Neon (database), Resend (email), Cloudflare (bot protection), Vercel (hosting), PayPal (payouts: your email address and the amount, only when you withdraw). Affiliate networks such as Awin receive a random click reference when you activate cashback, never your name or email.

Cookies: we do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. When you sign in to the Meus app, we set one strictly necessary cookie (meus_session) that keeps you signed in. During the private beta, a second one (meus_beta) remembers that you entered the beta password.

Audience statistics: Meus counts its own visits, without cookies and without any third party: the page you open, the site you came from (its name only), your country, the type of device and browser, and how long the page stays open. To count each visitor once per day we keep a one-way fingerprint of your network address, browser and the date; it changes every day, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next, and your address itself is never stored. We use these numbers only to see how the site is used. They are deleted after 13 months.

If you use the Meus app: your email address, your sessions, the stores you activate cashback on (store and time), and the commissions, balances and receipts linked to your account. Public receipts never include who you are.

If you use the Meus assistant: your conversation is kept only in your browser. Meus passes each message to its AI provider to get an answer and does not store or log what you wrote; it keeps only how many messages you sent each day. We only enable AI providers that commit to not logging or training on requests, and we will name the provider here when the assistant launches. Meus never uses your messages for advertising.

Points: we keep, for each week, the totals used to score your points (confirmed cashback, assistant days, referrals) and the days you were active in the app — the date only.

If you use the Meus browser extension: the extension looks at the address of the page you are on and the page you came from, on your device, to recognize participating stores and to step aside when another affiliate was first. It does not send the pages you visit to Meus. It contacts Meus only to download the list of stores, to activate cashback when you tap, and to connect to your account with a pairing code. The tracker firewall runs entirely in your browser.

Your rights: access, correction, deletion, objection and portability. To leave the list or delete your data, reply to any email from us or write to privacy@joinmeus.com.
